The Nera cups are part of the exhibition CUPS, curated by Tableau and Liv Vaisberg, presented with Sovino Brands in occasion of 3 Days of Design and the 50th anniversary of the opening of Sommersko Cafe.
Each cup is shaped like a small offering stone — inspired by 'ohvrikivi', the ancient stones that stood in Estonian sacred groves, their hollows worn by time and hands leaving berries, grains and small gifts to forest spirits and ancestors. Made to be held, for whatever small ritual fits inside.
MATERIALS: Cork, raw clay, soot, resin (food-grade)
