The Blind Flowers vase is conceived by Our Creative Director JULIUS VÆRNES IVERSEN and crafted at Holmegaard Glasværk, a historic glassworks renowned for its craftsmanship.
The piece is adorned with delicate floral drawings created through a unique and intuitive process: factory workers sketched the motifs with their eyes closed, allowing instinct and imperfection to guide each line. These spontaneous drawings were then transferred onto the glass, forming a poetic and unrepeatable pattern.
Julius Værnes Iversen is the founder of Tableau, established in 2018 on St. in central Copenhagen. Driven by a desire to challenge traditional structures within the institutional art world, he works through a multidisciplinary and collaborative approach.
As Creative Director, Iversen remains closely involved in the studio’s daily practice, curating exhibitions and working across floral, spatial, and object design.
