AMPHIBIOUS STOOL BY JACOB EGEBERG

The Amphibious seatings, “Suited for both land and water” referring to a an amphibious vehicle. This furniture is an all terrain lounge collection, working for both indoor and outdoor climate. Using industrial methods this versatile furniture is both light in weight as well as water resistant.

With a minimalistic approach yet complex in its form. These pieces draws inspiration from brutalist architecture, big industries, industrial manufacturing, even a shipping container itself ready to be moved.

STUDIO JACOB EGEBERG is a Copenhagen-based designer who completed his Master of Arts at The Royal Danish Academy in 2020. Egeberg has received international attention for his vibrant work and his unconventional take on domestic interior and retail design. Through his unique and often colorful approach to industrial techniques and materials, he produces functional objects as a means of storytelling and challenges boundaries within the field of contemporary design.



MATERIALS: Styrofoam & soft PU foam, hard & elastics pigmented polyurethane coating, automotive paint.
