Ali Gallefoss (b. 1989, Bergen) is an artist and designer whose practice explores the intersection of functionality and artistic expression. Working across a range of materials and techniques, he embraces the unexpected possibilities that emerge through the creative process, challenging conventional boundaries between art and design. He holds a BA in Furniture and Spatial Design from the Bergen Academy of Art and Design and an MA from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts. Gallefoss was named Newcomer of the Year at Bo Bedre’s Design Awards in 2020, and his work has been presented internationally, including in Oslo, London, Copenhagen, and Beijing.
He lives and works in Oslo, Norway.
