the drawing room

Wax presents itself as a light and playful stool, where the dialogue between stained and lacquered wood creates a refined material contrast. The top, with its fluid and almost liquid shapes, is made of coloured lacquered wood, while the stained natural wood legs support the seat with apparent naturalness, concealing every joint. The result is an object with a complete organicity, as if created without mechanical intervention. A decorative floral motif, applied through the blind drawing technique by the Danish multidisciplinary studio TABLEAU, entrusts the gesture to immediacy and intuition, giving the object a renewed poetic depth in a perfect dialogue between formal rigor and creative freedom.
